Our Church

  • St Andrews Lutheran Church is the founding congregation of St Andrews Lutheran Community: Church, College and Aged Care.
  • We celebrate a traditional style of worship at 7.30am on the first and third Sunday mornings in the original little chapel, with morning tea following.
  • A contemporary, innovative style of worship is celebrated every Sunday at 9am in the main Worship Centre with morning tea fellowship following the service.
  • St Andrews runs a number of groups including: a men’s group, a women’s group, youth groups, several bible study groups, a playgroup, kids club, and children’s Sunday school.
more information about these activities and groups can be found under the Activities and Groups tab above.

Our Community

We are a community that has a high proportion of our members volunteering their time, both within and outside the community. We are willing to accept change and adapt to meet differing needs. We hope to build on our strong children’s ministry and our connectedness with our wider community.
As such, our priorities for the next 5 years are:

• Cross-generational ministry – ensuring that relationships within our community cross all age levels and that our ministry is relevant to all people, regardless of age.

• Youth and Young People’s Ministry – focusing on faith development of 12-25 year olds

• Community partnerships – renewing and strengthening our ties with the College and seeking out other possible
community connections.
